RALEIGH - NC State women's soccer (5-3-1) closed out its spring slate on Saturday afternoon with a 3-1 comeback win over Boston College (3-10-1) at Dail Soccer Stadium.
Jenna Bike opened up the scoring in the eighth minute with her fourth goal of the season after a fast start from the Eagles.
The rest of the first half was scoreless with the Wolfpack outshooting the Eagles, 9-4.
NC State answered back in the 55th minute thanks to Toni Starova's unassisted goal. She stole the ball from an Eagle defender and shot it past the goalkeeper into the bottom right corner of the net.
The Pack took its first lead of the match in the 74th minute off of a mistake by the Eagle's defense that resulted in an own goal.
In the 87th minute, Starova tallied her second goal of the contest to secure the team's win after a shot by Cara Elmendorf was deflected into the middle of the penalty box for her to tap in.
Starova's brace was the first of her Wolfpack career and the goals were her first two of the year.
The Wolfpack tallied 14 shots (nine on target) while the Eagles tallied seven shots (four on target).
