Steelman Named ACC Track Performer of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. - Junior Hannah Steelman has been named Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) Outdoor Track Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday.

The honor comes after Steelman posted the fastest time in the country in the women's 3000m steeplechase at the Tobacco Road Challenge. She ran a 9:46.35 that set a school record in addition to a facility record.

NC State splits up for the weekend of April 16-17 with some of the squad traveling to Gainesville, Fla., for the Tom Jones Memorial and other members of the team heading to Charlottesville, Va., for the Virginia Challenge.
