RALEIGH – In another top-15 ACC battled, the 11th-ranked NC State women's tennis team (7-3) came up just short to 13th-ranked Georgia Tech (10-6), falling by a 4-3 score on Sunday afternoon at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.

The match was decided on the final court. The teams split singles action evenly, but Georgia Tech won the doubles point to open the match which proved to be the difference.

NC State will hit the road for matches at Louisville (March 12) and Notre Dame (March 13) next weekend.
