RALEIGH – In its first home ACC match of the 2021 dual match season, the 11th-ranked NC State women's tennis squad (7-2) defeated the visiting Clemson Tigers (6-7) by a 7-0 score at the J.W. Isenhour Tennis Center.
The Wolfpack won the doubles point for the seventh time this season and the sixth match in a row and picked up victories on all six singles courts. NC State only dropped one set on the afternoon.
NC State makes the quick turnaround to host No. 13 Georgia Tech on Sunday afternoon. That match is set for a 12 p.m. start time from Raleigh.
