#Pack9 Downs No. 6 Miami, Takes First Game Of Series

Down 2-1 heading into the bottom of the third, the Wolfpack put up four runs on three hits, highlighted by back-to-back homers from Luca Tresh and Tyler McDonough to lead off the frame, to take a 5-2 lead.
Miami surged back to knot the score at 5-5 thanks to Jordan Lala's three-run home run in the fourth, but the Pack responded with four more runs in the bottom half along with two more in the fifth to secure a six-run lead for the final four innings.
Evan Justice and Reid Johnston put together solid performances on the mound, limiting the Hurricanes to just four hits and not allowing a run to score in the final five innings of the game.
