
NC State Falls to Louisville in First ACC Contest of Spring

RALEIGH – NC State men's soccer dropped a 3-0 decision to the visiting Louisville Cardinals on Thursday evening as it hosted its first ACC match of the spring inside Dail Soccer Stadium.
The Wolfpack fell to 2-7-1 (0-6-1 ACC) on the year, while the Cardinals improved to 2-6-1 (2-4-1 ACC).
Elijah Amo (47') scored to put Louisville on the board, Pedro Fonesca added a penalty kick (52') and Carlos Sanchis tallied the Cards' third goal (63').
NC State got a total of six shots off, led by two apiece from Kuda Muskwe and George Asomani. Both of Muskwe's strikes were on target.
Goalkeeper Leon Krapf made two saves in the contest.
NC State will next hit the road for back-to-back road matches at Wake Forest (March 13) and Clemson (March 20).
