#11 Wolfpack Extends Winning Streak to Five Matches with 5-0 Win Against Charlotte

RALEIGH – The 11th-ranked NC State women's tennis team (12-3) defeated No. 43 Charlotte (15-5) by a 5-0 score on Wednesday afternoon to extend its winning streak to five matches.
The victory marked the Pack's fourth over a nationally-ranked opponent this season. The squad's five-match winning streak started on March 12 and includes three home wins in a row.
NC State quickly took care of the 49ers, claiming the opening doubles point and then earning straight-set wins on four singles courts. Anna Rogers earned a ranked win on court one, and she, Alana Smith and Abigail Rencheli all extended their individual singles winning streaks five matches.
The Pack is set to make up its previously postponed match at Miami on Sunday, March 28. That matchup is set for a 3 p.m. start from Coral Gables, Fla.
