Wolfpack Earns 11 All-EAGL Honors

STEUBENVILLE, OHIO - The NC State gymnastics earned 11 All EAGL honors for the 2021 season, as announced by the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) office on Monday.
The First Team All-EAGL on each event and in the all around consists of the top eight ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the 10-week regular season. The Second Team All-EAGL consists of the No. 9 to No. 16-ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the regular season.
Nine of the Wolfpack's 11 honors are First Team ALl-EAGL accolades, tied with New Hampshire for the most in the league.
Sophomore Emily Shepard tabbed the most All-EAGL honors on the team, earning First Team status on vault, bars, floor and all-around. Shepard is ranked first in the league on vault, bars and all-around. The First Team All-EAGL on vault and bars are the second of her career.
Sophomore Chloe Negrete earned First Team All-EAGL on every event she competed in during the 2021 season, vault, beam and floor. The honors on beam are the second of her career while the First Team laurels on vault and floor are the first.
Freshman Madison Benson garnered Second Team All-EAGL on vault.
Senior Katie Cox attained the second First Team All-EAGL honors on bars of her career.
Junior Meredith Robinson claimed First Team All-EAGL laurels on bars for the second time.
Senior Nicole Webb earned a spot on the Second Team All-EAGL on beam for the second time in her career.
