#9 NC State Falls at #5 Florida State

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The ninth-ranked NC State women's tennis team (6-2, 1-1 ACC) fell 5-2 to fifth-ranked Florida State (8-1, 3-0 ACC) in a top-10 conference matchup on Friday evening.
The Pack opened the matchup with a tightly-contested doubles point that came down to the final court. The teams split courts one and three, with the second-ranked Wolfpack duo of Anna Rogers and Alana Smith coming away with the 6-3 win over Victoria Allen and Giulia Pairone on the top court.
Sixteenth-ranked Adriana Reami and Jaeda Daniel pushed their back-and-forth match to a tiebreaker. They ultimately won 7-6 (4) over Andrea Garcia and Nandini Das to clinch the opening point.
NC State then went up a set on three courts, but Florida State managed to push two of those courts into third sets. Reami picked up the only singles win for the Pack with a 6-2, 6-4 straight-sets victory over No. 92 Das, but Florida State won the remaining five courts.
