
Women’s Soccer Adds Alexis Strickland To Program

RALEIGH – NC State women's soccer head coach Tim Santoro has added Alexis Strickland to his program. A transfer from Oklahoma, she will join the Wolfpack in the 2022 spring semester and have two years left of eligibility.
Strickland is a native of Raleigh, N.C., and played for NC Courage before heading to the University of North Carolina out of high school. While with the Tar Heels in 2019, she played in 27 matches and totaled 824 minutes while registering four goals and three assists for 11 points. Her first college goal came versus Duke when she notched the game winner 13 seconds before the half.
In 2020, she was a medical redshirt at UNC before going to Oklahoma for the 2021 fall season. The forward tallied a goal and two assists while logging 897 minutes in 17 contests with the Sooners.
