RALEIGH – NC State women's soccer's Jameese Joseph was recognized as one of the top 100 players in the nation by TopDrawerSoccer this week, checking in at No. 81 on the list.
This is the third postseason award in the 2021 season for the Beltsville, Md., native, as she recently earned Second Team All-ACC and United Soccer Coaches Atlantic All-Region First Team honors. Additionally, this is the second time in her career that she has landed on one of TopDrawerSoccer's postseason lists, as she was ranked No. 23 on its Top 100 Freshmen List in 2019.
Joseph led the team with nine goals and 20 points, as she started all 20 matches as an attacker in the 2021 fall season. She was responsible for the game-winning goals over No. 4 Duke and No. 3 North Carolina to help the team defeat both teams in the same season for the first time in program history.
