Eight Current NC State Swimmers, Three Wolfpack Alumni Set to Compete at FINA World Championships

MEET CENTRAL | FULL MEET SCHEDULE | RESULTS
RALEIGH – Eleven current and former members of the NC State men's and women's swimming teams are set to kick off action at the 15th FINA World Swimming Championships held in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Open water events will take place Dec. 15-16 in Yas Bay, with pool competition being held Dec. 16-21 in Etihad Arena.
Brooke Travis (United States) and Kenna Smallegange (Canada) kick off action Wednesday, as they will both race in the women's Marathon Swim World Series. Katharine Berkoff (United States), Sophie Hansson (Sweden) and Andrea Podmanikova (Slovakia) round out the Wolfpack womens' representation at the meet.
The NC State men will be represented by Nyls Korstanje (Netherlands), Kacper Stokowski (Poland) and Hunter Tapp (United States). Wolfpack alumni Simonas Bilis (Lithuania), Ryan Held (United States) and Andreas Vazaios (Greece) are also set to compete for their respective countries.
