Rocens, Van Sambeek Set for ITA Fall Nationals

RALEIGH - NC State men's tennis team members Martins Rocens and Fons Van Sambeek are set to begin action at the ITA Fall National Championships Thursday, Nov. 4. The tournament will be competed at the Barnes Tennis Center in San Diego, Calif.

The duo earned an at-large doubles bid to the tournament after a strong outing at the ITA Carolina Regional. Rocens and Van Sambeek made a run to the semifinals at the regional, taking down three doubles opponents in the process.

The doubles round of 32 will begin Thursday, Nov. 4, and doubles competition will continue through Sunday, Nov. 7.

LAST TIME AT FALL NATIONALS
Ivan Saveljic and Igor Saveljic were the last members of the Wolfpack to compete at Fall Nationals, taking a spot in 2018. The duo posted a 6-2, 5-7, 1-0(8) win in the first round before falling in the second round.
