
Gymnastics Announces 2022 Schedule

RALEIGH - The NC State gymnastics team has released its 2022 competition schedule, as announced by head coach Kim Landrus on Tuesday.Â
The Wolfpack will compete in 11 meets, five at home and six away, during its regular season. Five of NC State's 2022 competitors are squads that achieved Regionals spots in the 2020-21 year. The season's highlight will come in its final home meet of the season as Rutgers and Florida, who finished the 2020-21 season ranked No. 4 in the nation, make the trip to Raleigh.

Prior to the start of the season, fans can get a glimpse of the 2021-22 Wolfpack squad at the Red and White Exhibition Friday, Dec. 17. The time of the Red and White Exhibition will be announced at a later date.
The regular season opens Friday, Jan. 7 with a short trip to Chapel Hill, N.C., where NC State will take on North Carolina, Auburn and Bowling Green at 7 p.m.
NC State will remain on the road for its second meet, traveling to Rutgers for a 1 p.m. quad meet Saturday, Jan. 15 with fellow EAGL squads North Carolina and New Hampshire.
The home opener is slated for Saturday, Jan. 22 as the Wolfpack welcomes Towson to Reynolds Coliseum for a 4 p.m. matchup.
Saturday, Jan. 29 sees NC State play host to New Hampshire, George Washington and William & Mary at 4 p.m. in Raleigh.
A two-match road stint begins Sunday, Feb. 6 with a tri-meet at Pittsburgh with West Virginia followed by a trip to LIU Sunday, Feb. 13 (time TBA). The road trip is followed by a home meet when North Carolina travels to Raleigh for a dual meet Saturday, Feb. 19 at 4 p.m.
NC State will welcome reigning EAGL Champions Temple to Reynolds Coliseum Friday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m. for its first meet of a two-meet weekend before competing at George Washington Sunday, Feb. 27 at 1 p.m.
The squad's final road meet of the season comes Sunday, March 6 at 1 p.m. at Maryland with Yale and William & Mary.
The 2022 regular-season finale is set for Friday, March 11 when Florida and Rutgers travel to Raleigh for a 7 p.m. matchup.
Postseason competition opens Saturday, March 19 at the EAGL Championships, which will be hosted by George Washington.
NCAA Regional action returns to Raleigh March 30-April 2 and will mark the first time NC State has hosted a regional since the regional format changed in 2019. The NCAA Championships are slated for April 14-16 and will be competed in Fort Worth, Texas.
