
Track & Field Announces 2021-22 Competition Slate

RALEIGH - The NC State track & field programs have released their 2021-22 meet schedule, as announced by head coaches Rollie Geiger and Laurie Henes on Monday.

The Wolfpack opens its season with a pair of meets in Blacksburg, Va., first competing at the VT Invitational Jan. 14-15 before returning for the Hokie Invitational Jan. 21-22.
Jan. 28-29 will see NC State travel to Clemson, S.C., for the Bob Pollock Meet. The squad will split up the following weekend (Feb. 4-5) with some members traveling to Virginia Beach, Va., for the East Coast Invitational while others make the trip to Winston-Salem, N.C., for the Camel City Invitational.
A return trip to Clemson for the Tiger Paw Invitational is scheduled for Feb. 11-12 before an additional two-meet weekend. The Pack will compete at the JDL DMR Invite (Winston-Salem, N.C.) and the VT Challenge (Blacksburg, Va.) Feb. 18-19.
Indoors postseason begins Feb. 24-26 at the ACC Championships, hosted by Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Va.
The final meet of the indoor season will be the NCAA Championships, slated to take place March 11-12 in Birmingham, Ala.
The 2021 outdoors season begins with a trip to Orlando, Fla. for the UCF Invite March 18-19.
NC State is set to host its only home meet of the season, Raleigh Relays, March 24-26 at the Paul Derr Track.
April 7-9 the squad makes the short journey to Durham, N.C., for the Duke Invitational before traveling to Gainesville, Fla., for the Tom Jones Memorial April 15-16.
The Wolfpack travels to Charlottesville, Va., April 22-23 for the UVA Challenge before competing in three meets from April 28-30.Â
Penn Relays is slated to occur April 28-30 while the Torrin Lawrence Memorial (Athens, Ga.) and Charlotte Invitational (Charlotte, N.C.) will be contested April 29-30.
Postseason competition opens May 12-14 at the ACC Championships in Durham, N.C., and continues May 25-28 at the NCAA Regional Championships in Bloomington, Ind.
Outdoor season concludes with the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore., June 8-11.
