
Volleyball Hosts Virginia Tech and Wake Forest

RALEIGH - NC State volleyball returns to Reynolds Coliseum for a pair of weekend matchups against Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.
The Pack begins the weekend with a Friday matchup against Virginia Tech at 7 p.m. before facing Wake Forest on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both games will be broadcast live on ACC Network Extra.

VIRGINIA TECH MATCHUP
- Friday's match serves as the 39th meeting between the Hokies and Wolfpack
- NC State is trailing, 17-21 in the overall series but is currently on a seven-game winning streak dating back to 2015

- This match will be NC State's pink game where the Wolfpack will wear pink uniforms to honor cancer patients and survivors

- Graduate student Melissa Evans had an outstanding match as she paced both teams with 21 kills while hitting .410 on the day. Junior Kristen McDaniel led the way with 36 assists while graduate student Kaylee Frazier tallied a match-high 15 digs
- Over the weekend, graduate student Melissa Evans became NC State all-time kill leader in the rally scoring era as she eclipsed 1,369 career kills
- In the third set against Florida State, senior Jade Parchment recorded her eighth kill of the match to reach 1,000 career kills as she became the 12th player in program history to reach that achievement
