NC State will celebrate Senior Night and honor the careers of 14 members of Class of 2021

RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team (6-7-2, 0-5-2 ACC) concludes its 2021 regular season on Friday evening as Boston College (6-5-2, 2-3-2 ACC) comes to Raleigh. Kickoff between the Wolfpack and the Eagles is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Dail Soccer Stadium, and the match will be broadcast live on ACCNX.
FREE ADMISSION
Beginning in 2021, NC State men's soccer games are free of charge. Gates will open one hour prior to the start of the match. As NC State works toward a more normal on-campus experience, NC State Athletics will continue abiding by the current policies for campus as outlined in the University Community Standards.
CELEBRATING SENIORS
NC State celebrates the careers of 14 members of the Class of 2021 on Friday night: Alex Bautista, Ivy Brisma, Parker Cross, Aidan Foster, Pepe Garcia, Alex Hernandez, Leon Krapf, Jose Morales Jr., Kuda Muskwe, Bailey O'Connor, James Orozco, AJ Seals, Jamie Smith and Brad Sweeney.
This group of men has combined for 428 starts and helped transform the trajectory and culture of NC State men's soccer. They helped lead the Pack to three NCAA Tournament berths in a row from 2017 through 2019, marking the first such accomplishment for the program since the 1980s. In 2019, the team finished fifth in the league standings for its best ACC finish since 2005. In total, these 14 members of the senior class have been a part of upsets against four top-five opponents.
A WIN FRIDAY WOULD
• Be the 538th win in program history (537-470-104)
• Be the 199th win in head coach George Kiefer's career (198-121-67)
• Be Kiefer's 37th victory at NC State (36-35-16)

SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 8-7-4)
• Friday marks the 20th overall meeting between NC State and Boston College. The teams have played each other at least once every season since their first meeting in October 2004.
• NC State and Boston College last faced off in the season finale in early April, playing to a stalemate. Leon Krapf made three saves on the day to tally his sixth shutout during the 2020-21 season.
• The Pack remains unbeaten in its last three matches against the Eagles. Prior to last year's draw, NC State had won the 2018 and 2019 regular-season meetings between the squads.
• NC State is 7-1-1 when playing against Boston College on its home field. The Pack's only home loss to the Eagles was in 2008.
LAST TIME OUT
• Playing in its final road game of the regular season, NC State fell to Louisville in a 2-1 decision on Friday night.
• The Cardinals got on the board first in the 37th minute off a goal by Pedro Fonesca.
• After the halftime break, the Wolfpack got a few good looks, and it was Luke Hille who netted the equalizer in the 68th minute off an assist from Ivy Brisma.
• Louisville scored the match winner four minutes later off the foot of Aboubacar Camara.

• The Pack's 191 shot attempts have been distributed among 17 different players, led by 32 strikes from Kuda Muskwe.
• Eleven different players have found the back of the net in 2021, with Luke Hille's five goals pacing the team. Hille has scored five goals in just six outings played this season.
• Jamie Smith has scored all three of his goals this year on free kicks. His two-goal game against JMU on Sept. 14 marked the first time in the Kiefer era that more than one goal has been tallied by a single defender in a game.
• Leon Krapf is ranked fifth in the league in total saves (40, 2.67 per game) and sixth in save percentage (.678).
• NC State has held four of its opponents scoreless this season and held another five to just a single score.
