Four NC State Freshmen Named to 2021-22 U.S. Junior National Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four members of the NC State men's and women's swimming and diving teams were named to the 2021-22 USA Swimming National Team, as announced by the organization on Monday.
Wolfpack freshmen Arsenio Bustos, Aiden Hayes, Sam Hoover and Grace Sheble earned spots on the team for the next season. To be selected to the National Junior Team, athletes were the top two swimmers in their individual Olympic event(s) or the third and fourth-ranked swimmers in the 100 and 200-meter freestyle events.
Wolfpack U.S. Junior National Team Members
Sheble – 200 butterfly
Bustos – 100 freestyle, 200 IM
Hayes – 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly
Hoover – 100 freestyle
The four swimmers are part of the Wolfpack's highly-ranked freshmen classes. Bustos, Hayes and Hoover contribute to the Pack's top-ranked men's class, and Sheble is a member of the team's third-ranked women's class.
