Wolfpack Announces 2021 Competition Slate

RALEIGH - The NC State gymnastics team is set to compete in 10 meets during its 2021 season, as announced by head coach Kim Landrus on Wednesday.
The schedule features five home meets and five away meets and includes meetings with Temple and LIU, schools competing in the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) beginning with the 2021 season. All home meets will be available to watch on ESPN3.

The Wolfpack's season kicks off Friday, Jan. 15 at 6 p.m. in Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum as the Wolfpack hosts the first of three meetings with EAGL opponent Pittsburgh.
NC State follows up its home opener with a pair of road meets, traveling to EAGL member Towson for a tri-meet with Temple Jan. 22 before making the trip to Pittsburgh, Pa., Jan. 31 for a meet with the Panthers and Towson.
The squad returns to Raleigh Saturday, Feb. 6 to welcome Pittsburgh, North Carolina and Towson for a quad-meet. NC State will then make the short trip to Chapel Hill, N.C., to compete against North Carolina Friday, Feb. 12.
On Friday, Feb. 19 NC State plays host to EAGL opponent George Washington and 2019Â national champion Oklahoma in Reynolds Coliseum. The Sooners begin 2020 action ranked No. 2 in the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) preseason poll, and the meet marks Oklahoma's first trip to Raleigh since 2011.
The Wolfpack will remain in Raleigh Saturday, Feb. 27, hosting a tri-meet with William & Mary and Temple before making its final road trip of the year to Durham, N.H., for a meeting with 2020 EAGL Regular Season Co-Champion New Hampshire.Â
The final meet of the season sees the Wolfpack compete for the first time against one of the EAGL's newest members, LIU, in Raleigh, N.C., Saturday, March 13.
Saturday, March 20 NC State will seek to win its seventh EAGL Championship and its second under Landrus. The location of the EAGL Championship will be announced at a later date.
NCAA Regionals are slated to take place April 1-4 while the NCAA National Championship takes place April 16-17 in Fort Worth, Texas.
