DURHAM, N.C. – The Wolfpack men's and women's swimming and diving teams remain unbeaten through three dual meets and an invitational after picking up a pair of road victories at Duke on Saturday.
The fourth-ranked Wolfpack women came away from a ranked matchup with No. 16 Duke with the 163.5-93.5 win, and the sixth-ranked NC State men took the meet by a 167-92 decision over the Blue Devils. Both squads are now 3-0 on the season and in conference action with meets against Virginia and Virginia Tech remaining.
INDIVIDUAL HIGHLIGHTS:
The Pack men continued their domination of the 1,000-yard freestyle with yet another 1-2-3 sweep. Eric Knowles led the way with a winning time of 9:13.17, and Curtis Wiltsey (9:23.05) and Owen Lloyd (9:29.03) joined him in the top three.
NC State went on to also claim the top four spots in the 500-yard freestyle, led by a top finish by sophomore Noah Bowers (4:25.67).
Kylee Alons added to her perfect weekend with another pair of event victories. She took top honors in her first 200-yard freestyle race of the season, clocking in at 1:47.76 for the win and just short of an NCAA provisional cut. Kate Moore (1:51.97) and McKaley Goldblum (1:52.03) joined her on the podium in that race.
Alons also led a 1-2-3 finish for the Wolfpack women in the 200-yard backstroke. The junior went 1:55.59 for an NCAA B cut, and Moore (1:59.77) and Maddy Flickinger (1:59.79) rounded out the attack.
Yara Hierath won both distance freestyle events with a time of 10:10.46 in the 1,000-yard and 4:58.84 in the 500-yard.
On the men's side, Noah Henderson went unbeaten in the butterfly events with his 100-yard mark of 48.59 and his 200-yard mark of 1:48.56. Luke Miller added a pair of wins in the 200-yard freestyle (1:37.40), which he also won last night against the Tar Heels, and in the 200-yard individual medley (1:50.17).

NC State exhibitioned both of the 400-yard freestyle relay races but still posted the fastest times in both of those events.
