Six from @PackWrestle Earn All-America Accolades from NWCA

Hayden and Trent Hidlay each named first-team All-Americans
RALEIGH, N.C. – With the cancellation of the 2020 NCAA Wrestling Championships, the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) has named the 2020 Division I All-American teams. An ACC-best six were honored from NC State, with a pair on each the first-team, second-team, honorable mention lists.Â
All six will be returning to the Wolfpack's lineup for the 2020-21 season.

• R-Jr. Hayden Hidlay (157)
Â
Hayden Hidlay earned the #2 seed for the 2020 NCAA Championships. He was named the 2020 ACC Wrestler of the Year after winning his third straight conference title. He posted a 30-1 record on the season, a perfect 12-0 in duals, and scored 10 wins over ranked foes.

Next season, as a R-Sr., Hidlay will be vying to become NC State's first-ever four-time All-American.

Trent Hidlay earned the #5 seed for the 2020 NCAA Championships. He was named the 2020 ACC Freshman of the Year after earning All-ACC honors. He posted a 23-4 record on the season, 14-1 in duals, and posted five top-10 wins on the season.

Camacho earned the #10 seed for the 2020 NCAA Championships. He was named the 2020 ACC Wrestling Championship Most Outstanding Wrestler after winning his first ACC title in his first attempt with a win over #2 Mueller of Virginia in the finals (11-4). He went 20-6 on the season, winning eight of nine duals dating back to January.

Thomas Bullard earned the #10 seed for the 2020 NCAA Championships. He set a new personal-best with 23 wins on the season, and notched five top-12 wins during the season.

• R-Jr. Tariq Wilson (141)
Â
Wilson earned the #15 seed for the 2020 NCAA Championships. He earned All-ACC honors in his first season at 141 pounds, and went 24-6 on the season, 9-1 in duals, and had four wins over ranked ACC foes.

• R-Jr. Daniel Bullard (174)
Â
Daniel Bullard earned the #15 seed for the 2020 NCAA Championships. Like his brother Thomas, he also set a new career-high with 23 wins on the season, and earned All-ACC honors as well.

The Wolfpack led the ACC with six honorees, the next highest was four by Pitt. The Pack also tied for a league-best two first-team All-Americans.

Each year the NWCA recognizes the outstanding work of the DI Student-Athletes by naming the All-Americans based on their achievements in the national championship, however, this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic the championships were canceled. All-American honors were based on each wrestler's overall body of work through the conference tournaments and up to the national championships.
