@PackWrestle Claims Four Top-10 Seeds, Two Top-5, for 2020 NCAA Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State Wrestling team received four top-10 seeds, including two in the top-five, for the 2020 NCAA Championships. In all, the Pack will take eight to the NCAAs, six of which received top-15 seeds or better.

Four of the NC State participants will be making their third trips, while the remaining four from NC State will be at the NCAA Championships for the first time.

Two-time All-American, R-Jr. Hayden Hidlay, once again drew a top-five seed. In his third NCAA Championship appearance, Hidlay will start as the No. 2 seed at 157 pounds.

Younger brother Trent Hidlay will be making his first trip to the NCAAs and is the No. 5 seed at 184 pounds.

Another pair of Pack wrestlers enter as the No. 10 seeds in their weight class. R-Jr. Thomas Bullard makes his third trip to NCAAs and is 10th at 165 pounds, while 2020 ACC Championships Most Outstanding Wrestling, R-Fr. Jakob Camacho, is seeded 10th at 125 pounds.

A pair of wrestlers will be also be making their third trip to the NCAA Championships, and both drew a No. 15 seed in their weight classes: R-Jr. Tariq Wilson at 141 pounds and R-Jr. Daniel Bullard at 174 pounds.

After earning All-ACC honors, So. Deonte Wilson advances to his first NCAA Championship and drew the No. 22 seed at heavyweight. R-Fr. Jarrett Trombley will also be making his first trip, and is the No. 27 seed at 133 pounds.

The 2020 NCAA Championships will take place in Minneapolis, Minn., March 18-21.
