#8 Pack Finishes Off Regular Season at Virginia Sunday

RALEIGH – The eighth-ranked Wolfpack (24-4, 13-4 ACC) will hit the road for its regular-season finale as it visits the Virginia Cavaliers (13-15, 8-9 ACC) on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off from John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Va., is set for 2 p.m., with live television coverage provided by RSN (Fox Sports South in Raleigh).
After picking up a Senior Night victory over Syracuse on Thursday, the NC State women's basketball team secured the two seed for the upcoming ACC Tournament. It is the Wolfpack's best postseason position since the 1990 ACC Tournament when it won the regular season and was the top seeded team.
The Pack will play its first game of the conference tournament at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 6.

• Coach Moore is 6-3 against Virginia in his time at NC State.
• Virginia owns a 20-14 advantage in games played in Charlottesville. NC State, however, has won each of the last two games played in John Paul Jones Arena.
• The squads met for the first time this season on Jan. 5. NC State did not trail in that game and eventually won by an 80-60 score inside Reynolds Coliseum.

• After picking up its 24th victory of the season, the Pack has now earned 24+ regular-season wins in three overall seasons and two-straight campaigns under the leadership of Coach Moore.
• NC State defeated Syracuse 69-60 in its last game. Four Wolfpack players scored in double figures in what was a well-balanced scoring attack for the team.
• The squad's four seniors earned the start in that game, and three of those seniors scored 10+ points in the final regular-season home game of their careers. Aislinn Konig led the way with 13 points and five assists, while Erika Cassell (12 points) and Grace Hunter (10 points) also found double figures.
• Cassell's 12 points against the Orange were a season high, and the forward was one rebound shy from posting a double-double.
• As a team, NC State shot 44.6 percent from the field against Syracuse, marking its third time in the last four games shooting better than 40 percent from the field. NC State has 11 games in conference play with a 40+ percent shooting clip.
• Konig continues to lead the ACC with her 2.43 assist-to-turnover ratio in conference games. Through 17 league outings, the senior guard has dished out 68 assists to just 28 turnovers. She averages just one turnover per game against ACC competition.
• Elissa Cunane is the only player in the conference who ranks in the top six in the league in scoring (16.6), rebounding (9.9) and field-goal percentage (.552). She owns the ACC lead in double-doubles on the season (13) and is tied for first with 14 10-rebound games on the year. Cunane has scored in double figures in all but five games in 2019-20.
JONES HEATING UP
Junior Kayla Jones notched her fifth double-double of the season with 12 points and a team-leading 14 rebounds against Syracuse. After earning the first start of her career in the Pack's season opener, Jones has started all 28 games with 18 double-figure scoring outings.
The Jamesville, N.C., native has also dished out three or more assists in 14 games in 2019-20. In NC State's last five outings, Jones is averaging 11.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists.
TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS ON THE ROAD
Now in season seven under Coach Moore, the Wolfpack has earned 49 true road wins (averaging 7.0 per completed season) since the start of the 2013-14 season. In the prior eight seasons from 2005-06 to 2012-13, NC State earned 32 true road wins (4.0 per season).
