
Chmiel Earns All-ACC Honors at Day 2 of ACC Indoor Championships

Freshman Kelsey Chmiel capped off Friday's action at the 2020 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championship by winning All-ACC honors on a day that also saw several Wolfpack runners advance to Saturday's finals. The event is being held at Notre Dame's Loftus Sports Center.
Chmiel, who won All-ACC and All-America honors in cross country in 2019, finished third in the 5,000 meters with a
16.18.99 mark.
Senior sprinter Cravont Charleston flew out of the prelims on Friday, advancing to the finals in two events at the 2020 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Charleston posted a PR of 21.05 in the 200 meters to advance to tomorrow's championship, while his 6.61 clocking in the 60M was the fastest time posted today.
In the women's mile, Nevada Mareno (4:45.97) and Anna Vess (4:47.10) both advanced to the championship, with Mareno posting a prelim time of 4:45.97 and Vess running 4:54.06.
Freshman Kyle Durham will run in tomorrow's 800 meter finals, making it through with a 1:51.42.
Starting off Friday's action for the Wolfpack, Jamar Davis scored points for the Pack in the men's long jump with a seventh-place mark of 7.37 (24'2-1/4). In the men's 5000M, Ian Shanklin scored with an eighth-place time of 14.11.33.
