#12 Rifle Set for Big Weekend at NCAA Qualifier

RALEIGH – The 12th-ranked NC State rifle team is set to travel to Charleston, S.C. for the 2020 NCAA Qualifier. The Qualifier serves as 50% of the qualifying team score as NC State looks to qualify as a team for the NCAA Rifle Championships.
The qualifying process for the NCAA Rifle Championships is made up 50 percent of a team's score at a NCAA Qualifier with the remaining 50 percent coming from a three score average of meets at different sites. The NC State three score average is 4668. The team's with the top eight combined scores will qualify with additional individual competitors later being announced on Feb. 25. The 2020 Rifle Championships will be held March 13-14 in Lexington, Ky.
NC State last competed Feb. 2 at home against #7 Nebraska where the Wolfpack put up its third-highest score of the season, 4685. In that competition, freshman Addy Burrow shined with a career-high 1169 aggregate in addition to leading the team with a 592 air rifle.
