RALEIGH – The NC State men's soccer team (0-5-1, 0-4-1 ACC) concludes its 2020 fall season on Saturday evening as second-ranked Wake Forest (6-1-0, 4-1-0 ACC) comes to Raleigh. Kickoff between the Wolfpack and Demon Deacons is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Dail Soccer Stadium, and the match will be broadcast live on the ACC's Regional Sports Networks.
Due to health and safety recommendations and current state guidelines, attendance at NC State men's soccer home competitions is limited to a pass list of player and coach guests only. No tickets are available to the general public.
NORRIS SENIOR NIGHT
Saturday's match will mark Senior Night for defender David Norris, as he will be graduating in December.
Norris has played an instrumental role in transforming the trajectory of the NC State men's soccer program during his four seasons in Raleigh. A two-year captain of the squad, he has helped the team achieve three NCAA Tournament berths, six victories over nationally-ranked opponents and the team's best conference finish since 2005.
Norris has been a part of 19 shutouts in his 58 career games, and he earned the starting nod in 55 of those outings. He is an integral part of an NC State backline that allowed just 1.2 goals per match during the outings in which he played. Norris is also a multi-time ACC Academic Honor Roll honoree.
A WIN ON SATURDAY WOULD…
• Be the 529th win in program history (528-460-99)
• Be the 190th win in head coach George Kiefer's career (189-111-62)
• Be Kiefer's 28th victory at NC State (27-25-11)
• Be Kiefer's ninth ACC win with the Pack (8-15-6)
• Be NC State's seventh win over a ranked foe since the start of the 2017 campaign (6-13-4)
TRACKING THE PACK (0-5-1, 0-4-1 ACC)
• A total of 20 players have made appearances for NC State, with five of those marking Wolfpack debuts. Five players have been named starters for the first time in their NC State careers this season.
• Goalkeeper Leon Krapf made a career-high seven saves during the Pack's Oct. 23 match against Clemson. His six first-half stops tied his previous career high, which he'd set on two occasions during the 2018 campaign.
• Krapf's shutout against the Tar Heels on Sunday was his first posted since beating then-No. 1 North Carolina on Oct. 12, 2018. It also marked NC State's first time not conceding a goal since a 0-0 2 OT draw at Duke on Oct. 19, 2019.
• The Wolfpack's 40 shot attempts have been distributed among 12 players, led by seven strikes from Kuda Muskwe.
• NC State's 10 shots against North Carolina marked a season high for the team after tallying nine strikes in two of its previous matches.
• NC State's three goals on the year have come from the feet or head of three different players - Muskwe, Alex Bautista and Ivy Brisma.
LAST TIME OUT
• NC State earned its first result and points of the 2020 fall season on Sunday as it battled to a scoreless draw at rival and fifth-ranked North Carolina.
• In what was a tremendous defensive effort by both teams, the Wolfpack generated just one fewer shot (10-11) and the same number of shots on goal/saves (2-2) as the Tar Heels.
SCOUTING THE DEMON DEACONS (6-1-0, 4-1-0 ACC)
• Wake Forest enters the match on a three-game winning streak. The team's sole loss of the season was a 2-1 road defeat at the hands of the Clemson Tigers.

• The squad ranks in the top five nationally in multiple categories, including: save percentage (3rd - .815), scoring offense (3rd - 2.29) and team goals against average (2nd - .707).
SERIES HISTORY (NC State trails 11-30-5)
