No. 8 Rifle Has Solid Showing Against No. 3 Kentucky

LEXINGTON, KY. – The eighth-ranked NC State Rifle posted its third consecutive score higher than 4650 on Saturday against No. 3 Kentucky at Barker Hall Rifle Range. Kentucky came away with the win, 4709-4656.
Addy Burrow led the Wolfpack for the third-straight match this season with an 1172 aggregate score. The sophomore has recorded above an 1170 in every outing this season. Freshman Katie Torrence recorded an aggregate score for the first time in her young career, rounding out the Wolfpack top-10 finishers with an 1158.

- Makenzie Sheffield led the team with a 583, finishing third overall.
- Lauren Crossley set a career-high with a 575 which included two 98 series'.
- Travis Stockton also bested his previous personal best, shooting a 576 Saturday.
- Torrence shot in small bore for the first time in her collegiate career, registering a 572.
AIR RIFLE NOTES
- Addy Burrow led the team with a 592 in air rifle, finishing third in the event. She registered a perfect third series, the only one for NC State in air rifle.
- With a 592, Burrow was one mark shy of her personal-best of 593
