Rifle to Compete Against No. 3 Kentucky, No. 11 Murray State

LEXINGTON, KY. – The NC State Rifle team travels this weekend for a pair of contests against No. 3 Kentucky and No. 11 in two top-15 showdowns in Lexington. Despite not competing last weekend, the Wolfpack are ranked No. 8 in the latest CRCA rankings following two outstanding scores to open the fall 2020 season.
The first relay Saturday will be available at 8 a.m. ET.
Both of NC State's team aggregate scores to open the season rank in the top-10 all-time in program history, including the Wolfpacks 4673 against North Georgia. The 4673 is the highest score in program history in the month of October and ties for third all-time.
Addy Burrow has been outstanding in her sophomore season, leading the Pack in both matches of the season she posted 1177 aggregate scores. The 1177 ties for the 15th best score nationally.
Kentucky started its season with three virtual contests, defeating Akron, Morehead State and Army. The Wildcats have posted scores above 4700 in all of its performances.
Murray State defeated UT-Martin twice and a win against Morehead State to open its season. The Racers had a season-high 4669 last weekend against UT-Martin.
