NC State aims for its third consecutive victory over the Fighting Irish

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's basketball team (10-4, 1-2 ACC) returns to PNC Arena Wednesday evening when it hosts Notre Dame (10-4, 1-2 ACC) for a 7 p.m. tilt.
The game will be televised on ESPN2 with Mike Couzens and Seth Greenberg on the call. NC State fans can also listen to Gary Hahn and Tony Haynes call all the action on the Wolfpack Sports Network.
Pack PNC Challenge
Wednesday night's game against Notre Dame is the first game in the 'Pack PNC Challenge'
The Challenge, which will run the rest of the 2020 ACC season, is aimed to give fans the opportunity to win prizes for attending the final nine home men's basketball games.
Fans can accumulate a maximum of 75 points. Fans that accumulate 70 or more points will be entered for a chance to win half-off the cost of their season tickets (max of four) for the 2020-21 season.
Over 20 additional prizes will also be awarded.

- NC State dropped an 81-70 decision at Clemson on Saturday afternoon. The Pack played its second consecutive game without its leading scorer and rebounder C.J. Bryce who is out with a concussion. D.J. Funderburk led four NC State players in double figures with 14 points on 5-of-8 shooting. Also reaching double figures for NC State was Devon Daniels (11), Markell Johnson (11) and Pat Andree (10).
- D.J. Funderburk is averaging 16.7 points and 6.3 rebounds per game over his last three outings while shooting 74.1% from the field. The Cleveland, Ohio native has shot over 50 percent in 10 of the 12 games he's played in this season. He is shooting 66.3% from the field on the season and would lead the ACC in field goal percentage, but just misses out on qualifying to be ranked. (Funderburk averages 4.58 field goals per game and to be ranked a player needs to average 5.0 field goals per game).
- The Pack has had a balanced offensive attack this season. NC State has five players averaging in double figures and has had six different players lead the team in scoring.
- NC State ranks second in the ACC and 44th in the NCAA in field goal percentage at 47.2%. The four worst shooting percentage for NC State this season have resulted in losses. The Pack is shooting 49.2% in its 10 wins this season and 42.1% in the four losses.

- Graduate transfer Pat Andree has a strong family history with Notre Dame. Andree's father and mother are both former Notre Dame student-athletes. His father, Tim, played on the Notre Dame basketball team from 1979-1983 for Digger Phelps. His mother, Laureen, was on the Notre Dame women's swim team from 1980-84. Pat is one of six children of Tim and Laureen. Only Pat and his older sister, Katelyn, have not attended college at Notre Dame. Pat's older brother, Tim, was a walk-on for Mike Brey and the Irish from 2006-10. His older brother Dan went to Notre Dame and his sister, Bridget, is currently a sophomore at Notre Dame. His youngest brother, Conor, has not started college yet.
- Notre Dame leads the NCAA with a 1.96 assist-to-turnover ratio. The Fighting Irish have had more assists than turnovers in every game this season. NC State has forced its opponents into a -0.8 assist-to-turnover ratio this season. The Pack's opponents have just 169 assists against 212 turnovers. NC State's opponents have had more turnovers than assists in 10 of 14 games this season.
- Notre Dame commits the fewest turnovers per game of any team in the NCAA, averaging just 9.6 per game. In 14 games this season, only one NC State opponent (Wisconsin - 9) has had single-digit turnovers.
