Grantham Garners EAGL Gymnast of the Week Honors

RALEIGH - Senior Drew Grantham has been named the East Atlantic Gymnastics League (EAGL) Gymnast of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday.

Grantham collects the honor after recording first-place finishes on beam (9.825), floor (9.875) and all-around (39.250) in the Wolfpack's meeting with EAGL opponent Towson on Jan. 25. The Durham, N.C. native tied for first place on bars at the meet, notching a 9.825.

The senior's score on bars tied her career-high in the event, and she additionally tied her season-high score on floor and recorded season-highs on vault, bars and beam

NC State continues its season Saturday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m. as it takes on EAGL opponent North Carolina in Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum.
