NC State Hosts Clemson Saturday at 2 PM

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's basketball team (12-5, 3-3 ACC) stays home at PNC Arena on Saturday to host Clemson (9-7, 3-3 ACC).

The game will be televised in North Carolina on Fox Sports South with Tom Werme and Mike Gminski on the call. A complete list of affiliates showing the game can be found here.

Pack Tracks
- NC State knocked off Miami, 80-63, on Wednesday night. The Pack shot 64.3% in the second half to pull away from the Hurricanes. Junior forward D.J. Funderburk led the Pack with 19 points and eight rebounds. Devon Daniels added 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting while Markell Johnson posted 10 points, four assists and a career-high tying four steals.
- Senior guard C.J. Bryce returned to the NC State lineup on Wednesday evening after missing the last four games for the Pack. Bryce suffered a concussion in morning shootaround on Dec. 29 while the team prepared to play Appalachian State. The Pack went 2-2 without Bryce in the lineup. The Charlotte native is the team's leading scorer and rebounder and ranks fourth in ACC in field goal percentage at 53.1%. In 21 minutes off-the-bench, he had six points, a season-high tying five assists and two steals.
- Junior forward D.J. Funderburk is playing the best basketball of his collegiate career. The Cleveland, Ohio native is averaging 17.8 points and 8.0 rebounds per game over the last five outings and has scored in double figures in seven consecutive games. Funderburk has grabbed 20 offensive rebounds in the last five games and is averaging 3.8 offensive rebounds per game in ACC play to rank third in the conference. He has shot over 50 percent in 12 of the 15 games he's played in this season. He is shooting 62.3% from the field on the season.

Saturday Storylines
- In the first 46 games of his NC State career, junior forward D.J. Funderburk only led the Pack in scoring one time. After scoring a team-high 19 points on Wednesday in the win over Miami, Funderburk has now led NC State in scoring in four of the last five games.
- NC State's bench outscored Miami's bench, 26-8, on Wednesday. The Pack's bench has outscored the opponent's bench in eight consecutive games and 15 of 17 this season. NC State's bench has outscored the opposition's bench in 22 of the last 26 games against ACC foes. NC State has had at least one player reach double figures scoring in seven consecutive games. Overall, the Pack has had 23 individual double-digit scoring performances off-the-bench this season led by D.J. Funderburk with 11.
- NC State had a season-low three steals against the Tigers in the previous meeting this season. The Pack only played seven players against Clemson and backed off its typical pressure defense. The Tigers had 10 turnovers in the game as NC State only forced its opponents into 41 turnovers over the four-game stretch that it played without C.J. Bryce. The 41 turnovers are the fewest forced by NC State over a four-game stretch in the Kevin Keatts era.
- Clemson made 26 free throws in the win over NC State on Jan. 4. The most free throws made by an NC State opponent this season. In its five losses this season, NC State is committing an average of over 20 fouls per game and sending its opponent to the free throw line 27 times a game. In 12 NC State wins, the Pack's opponent is averaging only 16.4 free throw attempts a game.
- Junior guard Braxton Beverly has not committed a turnover in the last four games, a stretch of 119 minutes of game action.
- The Pack is 9-0 this season when Braxton Beverly hits multiple three-pointers in a game. NC State is 3-5 when Beverly hits one three or less.
- Junior forward D.J. Funderburk has 20 offensive rebounds in the last five games after only grabbing 20 offensive rebounds in the first 10 games of the season.
