Pack Set to Open Fall Competition at Duke Bonk Invitational, Milwaukee Tennis Classic

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's tennis team officially opens fall action this weekend with players in action at the Milwaukee Tennis Classic from Sept. 20-23 and the Duke Bonk Invitational from Sept. 20-22.
MILWAUKEE TENNIS CLASSIC
Location: Milwaukee, Wisc.
Site: Western Racquet Club

Tadas Babelis, Yannai Barkai, Rafa Izquierdo Luque and Martins Rocens will represent the Wolfpack at the 44th Annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic (MTC). The tournament kicks off on Friday with the singles round of 64 and the doubles round of 32, and it runs until Monday.
It marks the first-ever appearance at the MTC for all four players, with Izquierdo Luque and Rocens set to make their NC State debuts this weekend.
The singles champion at the MTC will receive a wild card into the main draw of the Oracle ITA National Fall Championships.
DUKE BONK INVITATIONAL
Location: Cary, N.C.
Site: Cary Tennis Park
NC State will also have players in action just down the road at the Cary Tennis Park as it sends four to the Duke Bonk Invitational. Joseph Schrader, Collin Shick, Tristan Smith and Robert Turzak will all begin their seasons at the tournament, as will freshman Robin Catry as he plays his first matches in Wolfpack uniform.
