Wolfpack to Open Fall Season at Wahoowa Invitational

RALEIGH -- The NC State women's tennis team kicks off the 2019-20 season at the Wahoowa Invitational in Charlottesville, Va., Sept. 20-22. The matches are set to be held at the Snyder Tennis Center on the University of Virginia campus.

The Pack will be represented by freshmen Marta Gonzalez-Ballbe and Lana Mavor, with teammates Lexi Keberle and Liz Norman.

Matches start at 9 a.m. on Friday beginning with two doubles matches followed by one singles match. On Saturday, there will be two singles matches and one doubles match starting at 9 a.m. The invitational will conclude on Sunday with one singles match at 9 a.m.

Doubles matches will be played as an eight-game pro set and singles will be played best two-of-three sets with the third set serving as a 10-point tiebreak.
