Women’s Soccer Ranked 21st In United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – NC State women's soccer checked in at No. 21 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, as announced by the organization earlier this week.
This marks the third consecutive year that the Wolfpack will begin the season nationally ranked in at least one poll.
Seven opponents on the Pack's schedule are also nationally ranked in the preseason poll, while three more are receiving votes. Additionally NC State is one of seven teams in the Atlantic Coast Conference that will begin the season in the top 25.
Last season, NC State advanced to the Sweet 16 for the second time in the last three years after earning its third-straight NCAA Tournament bid. The squad finished with an 11-7-4 record, including five wins/ties over top 20 teams, and earned a program-best RPI of 18.
