Brett McLamb Joins Pack Men’s Golf

Former Campbell golfer was a two-time All-Big South selection
RALEIGH, N.C. – NC State men's head golf coach Press McPhaul announced Wednesday that Brett McLamb has joined the men's golf team as a graduate transfer.
"We have competed frequently against Brett and know the quality of a player he is," McPhaul said. "He's powerful and athletic with a multi-sport background. He brings skill and experience. He was a key member of a very good team last season at Campbell.
McLamb comes to the Pack after a stellar career at Campbell. He was a member of the All-Big South Freshman team his first year and was an All-Big South team member his last two seasons. In his career with Campbell, he completed 89 rounds and owned a 73.11 stroke average, which is the ninth-lowest in program history. He helped lead the Camels to three NCAA regional appearances and was a member of two Big South title winning teams.
He has six career top-10 finishes, including a personal-best runner-up finish at the OBX Intercollegiate last season.
The NC State men's golf team starts the 2019-20 season on Sunday, Sept. 8 when it opens play at the Gopher Invitational in Independence, Minn.
