King Named To TopDrawerSoccer Preseason Best XI Third Team

RALEIGH – Senior Tziarra King of the NC State women's soccer team was placed on TopDrawerSoccer's Preseason Best XI Third Team, announced by the organization on Tuesday.

This is the second preseason team she has been named to, as she was also selected to the Preseason All-ACC Team.

The Sicklerville, N.J., native returns as the Wolfpack's leading goal scorer last year, as well as one of the top five returning career goal scorers in the NCAA. She scored 10 last year, and owns 35 in her career.

No. 21 NC State opens its season Thursday at No. 15 South Carolina, as kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. at Stone Stadium in Columbia, S.C. The match will be broadcast on the SEC Network.
