Hargrave Joins Wolfpack Gymnastics Staff

RALEIGH -- NC State head coach Kim Landrus announced the addition of Madison Hargarve to the Wolfpack coaching staff as a volunteer assistant on Thursday. The two-time All-EAGL performer comes to Raleigh following four years as a member of the UNC gymnastics program.

"I'm excited to add Madison as a volunteer coach to the NC State gymnastics staff," said Landrus. "As a recent graduate, she will bring a wealth of high-level collegiate experience to the program. She will have an integral role both in and out of the gym, including developing that polished look on floor exercise and balance beam. Madison's passion for the sport and motivation to grow professionally spoke volumes throughout the interview process. I'm thrilled that she will be part of our Wolfpack family!"

Throughout her collegiate career, Hargrave competed on vault and floor, earning all-conference honors in both events in her senior season, including First Team All-EAGL accolades on floor. She was also named to the 2019 EAGL All-Scholastic Team and earned all-conference tournament status four times.

In her final season, Hargrave reached new heights, attaining a personal-best on vault (9.875) against NC State and on floor (9.900) against Kent State. The Westfield, Ind., native posted floor scores of 9.800 or above in nine of 11 meets throughout her senior campaign.
