Maggie Tamburro Named to CoSIDA Google Cloud Academic All-District Team

RALEIGH -- Maggie Tamburro has been named to the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-District Women's Team, as announced by CoSIDA.

The team recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the athletic realm and the classroom.

Tamburro boasted a 4.0 GPA, graduating last Saturday with a degree in biomedical engineering. The Hummelstown, Pa., native was named the 2019 EAGL Scholar-Athlete of the Year and earned All-EAGL Scholastic team honors in all four seasons. She also served as president of SAAC (Student-Athlete Advisory Committee).

A two-time All-EAGL First Team selection on bars, Tamburro competed in every meet of the 2019 season and collected seven podium finishes and three bars titles, more than her previous three seasons combined.
