Galarneau and Ogden Named ACC Doubles Team of the Week

GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second time this season, NC State men's tennis captains Alexis Galarneau and Michael Ogden were tabbed as the ACC Doubles Team of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday afternoon.
The honors mark the tandem's second time winning the Doubles Team of the Week award after they garnered the honor for the first time in their careers on Jan. 29.
The duo was perfect in doubles action during the Pack's matches last week as it went 2-0 in its completed contests. Galarneau and Ogden, who are ranked 57th nationally in doubles, beat No. 61 Borna Gojo and Alan Gadjiev 6-3 to help NC State clinch the doubles point against second-ranked Wake Forest. The pair went on to complete its perfect week with a dominant 6-1 win over Notre Dame's Grayson Broadus and Matt Gamble that helped lead the Pack to the 5-0 victory over the No. 14 Fighting Irish.
Galarneau and Ogden have posted a 7-2 overall record on the season in doubles, including two wins over ranked opponents. The pair is currently on a three-match winning streak.
The entire NC State squad will return to action on Friday, March 29 as it hosts Florida State at 5 p.m.
