Pack Selected to Compete at NCAA Gymnastics Regional Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The No. 31 NC State gymnastics team was selected to compete in the 2019 National Collegiate Women's Gymnastics Regional Championships in Athens, Ga., as announced Monday by the NCAA.
The Pack will face No. 34 New Hampshire in the first round on Thursday, April 4, with the winner advancing to the second round of the regional.
The selection marks the second consecutive year the Pack will compete in a NCAA Regional under the direction of head coach Kim Landrus, who is in her second year at the helm.
Also appearing in the regional will be No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 8 Georgia, No. 9 Kentucky, No. 15 California, No. 19 Missouri, No. 22 Iowa State, and No. 28 Maryland. The full bracket can be found here.
The Wolfpack enters the regional with a National Qualifying Score (NQS) of 195.715, which ranks 31st in the nation. NC State's 2019 regular season is highlighted by two scores of 196.000+ (Feb. 9 – 196.400, March 9 – 196.100).
With the most conference accolades since 2008, the Wolfpack earned 20 spots on the all-conference team. At the 2019 EAGL Championship, the team's performance earned 13 all-tournament accolades.
