RALEIGH, N.C. – Four of NC State's divers will continue postseason action as they compete at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships from March 11-13 at the James E. Martin Aquatic Center in Auburn, Ala.
Taylor Bennett, James Brady, Holt Gray and Madeline Kline will be in action at the meet as they look to advance out of the zone and secure qualifying spots to compete at the 2019 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships in Austin, Texas.
"The time has arrived," said head diving coach Yahya Radman. "This is what we train for all year, to be able to put us in a situation where we can advance to nationals and join the rest of our teammates in climbing the championship ladder. The hay is in the barn, and the wood has been chopped. Now, it's time to sit back and do what we do best. We will have ups and downs, but we have a plan to manage our emotions to get the best out of every situation that we're in."

The Wolfpack women were crowned ACC champions as they powered past the competition with a program-best 11 event titles, including a victory on platform by Kline. After winning the event in 2018, Kline defended her platform title in 2019 by smashing her personal best with a score of 271.60 for first place.
Bennett saw her most successful outing of the ACC Championships on the one-meter springboard where she scored points for the Pack with her 19th-place finish.

The highlight of Brady's meet came on platform where the Wolfpack junior finished on the podium with a bronze medal in the event. It marked the second season in a row that Brady reached a diving final at the ACC Championships, and he bested the program record that he already held by tallying a 376.60.
Gray also contributed valuable points for the Pack as he finished in the top 15 in every event. His best finish came on the one-meter springboard, where he placed 11th.
SEASON HIGHLIGHTS:
In addition to their postseason success, the Wolfpack divers put together another solid regular season slate.
Kline and Gray were both recognized two times apiece by the conference as ACC Divers of the Week for their performances. The pair swept the honors on Jan. 7 after a successful outing at the Georgia Diving Invitational. At that meet, Kline picked up a win on the platform and also reached the finals on the one-meter, while Gray reached the finals in all three events and hit 71 points on the three-meter for one of the highest-scored dives of his career.
Kline was also honored as ACC Women's Diver of the Week on Jan. 21 after winning on the three-meter and placing second on the one-meter in the Pack's dual against UNC-Chapel Hill. Brady picked up back-to-back one-meter wins in the duals against UNC-CH and Virginia. The junior also won on the platform at the Indiana Invitational in November, when he hit 80 points on a dive for he first time in his career on the way to taking first place with a mark of 353.30.
