NC State is 10-2 against Wake Forest under head coach Wes Moore

RALEIGH – The No. 9/12 NC State women's basketball team (23-3, 10-3 ACC) cruised to an uncomplicated victory over the visiting Wake Forest Demon Deacons on Thursday evening, winning by a final score of 80-46 on Kay Yow Court inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum. The victory was NC State's 10th ACC win of the season, marking the fifth time in six years that the program has won 10 or more league games.
NC State was ahead for 39:22 of the game's 40 minutes and led by as many as 37 points during the comfortable win. The only advantage Wake Forest held was a 2-0 lead in the first minute.
Five Wolfpack players scored in double figures during the victory. Aislinn Konig, Kiara Leslie, and Kayla Jones tied for the team high with 14 points. Konig achieved her 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting (4-of-5 from distance). She also tied a career high with six rebounds on an evening when the Wolfpack distributed 19 assists against just 11 turnovers. Kai Crutchfield (12 points) and freshman Esra McGoldrick (10) also recorded strong offensive performances.
Wake Forest's Ivana Raca led all players with 15 points on 5-of-17 shooting. She was joined in double figures by Alex Sharp's 10 points on 4-of-14 shooting.

-The Wolfpack is 44-6 on Kay Yow Court since the renovations to Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum.
