RALEIGH – The No. 12/11 NC State women's basketball team (22-2, 9-2 ACC) hosts the defending national champion No. 6/6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (23-3, 10-2 ACC) Monday evening for the 14th annual Play4Kay game. Scheduled to tip off at 7 pm on Kay Yow Court inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum, the game will be shown live on national television as a part of ESPN2's Big Monday. Doors will open at 6 pm.Â

For the third time in the last four years, the annual Play4Kay Game at NC State is officially sold out. NC State, the campus community, and Wolfpack fans have earned the annual Kay Yow Cancer Fund Play4Kay Award during three of the past four seasons by raising the most money in a breast cancer awareness game. Last season, Bojangles' donated $75,000 to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund while an additional $29,463 was also raised through community donations.

Kiara Leslie was added to the 2019 Wade Trophy Watch List, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) All-America Selection Committee announced on Feb. 5. The Wade Trophy annually honors the best player in college basketball.
