Wolfpack Divers Close Out 2019 Against Top Competition at USA Diving Winter Nationals

RALEIGH – NC State's divers close out the 2019 calendar year at the USA Diving Winter Nationals in Minneapolis, Minn., which is set to run Dec. 17-22.
Two Wolfpack divers will be in action as Madeline Kline and James Brady are set to compete on the 10m. Competition begins on Tuesday, with the women's 10-meter and men's 10-meter beginning Thursday and Friday, respectively.
A two-time ACC Champion on platform, Kline has already posted a Zone marks in her season platform debut at the NC State Invite.
Brady, also an All-ACC honoree on platform, competed at the winter nationals last year and has already posted a Zone cut on the one-meter.
The event brings nearly 150 of the nation's best divers to compete for 10 national titles and also serves as a selection event to determine which divers the United States sends to the 2020 FINA World Cup, which is the final opportunity to qualify quota spots for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
