Wolfpack Falls at Home to Clemson

RALEIGH, N.C. – #5 Clemson scored a 55-10 road win over the Wolfpack at Carter-Finley Stadium.
The Tigers (10-0, 7-0 ACC) held a 42-0 lead at the half over the Pack (4-5, 1-4).
NC State got on the scoreboard on the first possession of the second half, as RB Zonovan Knight galloped in from 53 yards out to cap a 5-play, 75-yard drive.
Knight finished with a career-best 139 yards on 12 carries. QB Devin Leary was 14-of-29 for 166 yards.
The home loss was the first of the season for NC State, and just the third in the last 18 games at Carter-Finley Stadium.
NOTABLES
• Four freshmen made their first career starts today: redshirt-freshmen Calvin Hart (LB) and Payton Wilson (LB) and true freshmen Dylan McMahon (OG) and Drake Thomas (LB).
• Only three of the Pack's 11 offensive starters today started a game last season.
• CB Nick McCloud returned to action for the first time since the season opener.

The Pack will return to home action next weekend, as NC State will host Louisville at 7:30 p.m.
