RALEIGH – The 14th-ranked NC State women's basketball team (1-0) continues its early season home stand with a visit from UNCW on Sunday afternoon. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Seahawks is scheduled for 2 pm from Kay Yow Court inside Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum with live streaming coverage provided by ACCNX.

Radio broadcasters Patrick Kinas and Ashley Eli will be calling the action live on Raleigh's WKNC 88.1 FM.

A WIN ON SUNDAY WOULD...
-Be the 918th win in program history (917-467).
-Be the 700th win in head coach Wes Moore's career (699-227).
-Be Moore's 142nd win at NC State (141-58).
-Be NC State's 31st straight home win over a non-conference foe.
-Mark NC State's 10th straight 2-0 start to a season.
-Be NC State's sixth win over UNCW (5-0).

SCOUTING THE SEAHAWKS (0-1)
-Went 18-12 last season (11-7 in the Colonial Athletic Association).
-Returning four starters from last season's team.
-Coached by Karen Barefoot, who is entering her third season as the head coach of UNCW.
-The Seahawks were projected to finish fifth in the CAA this season. Redshirt senior guard GiGi Smith was named to the Preseason All-CAA Second Team and senior guard Lacey Suggs earned Honorable Mention Preseason All-CAA recognition.

SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 5-0)
-NC State is 4-0 against UNCW in Raleigh.
-In the last meeting between the teams, the Wolfpack defeated the Seahawks 86-54 in Raleigh on Dec. 11, 2016.

APPROACHING 700 WINS
NC State head coach Wes Moore is just one victory away from 700 in his career. When he achieves this feat, he will be just the 11th active and 22nd ever NCAA Division I women's basketball coach to do so.

Newcomers Jada Boyd (18 points, 14 rebounds, five steals) and Jakia Brown-Turner (14 points) had stellar career debuts in the Nov. 6 win over N.C. A&T.

MAJOR HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
