HONOLULU – Off to its seventh consecutive 5-0 start to a season, the 12th-ranked NC State women's basketball team begins play at the 2019 Rainbow Wahine Showdown on Friday against Texas. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Longhorns is scheduled for 2:30 pm local (7:30 pm ET) from the Stan Sherriff Center on the campus of the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Following the game against Texas, NC State will play tournament host Hawaii (Nov. 30 at 2:30 pm local/7:30 pm ET) and North Texas (Dec. 1 at 12 pm local/5 pm ET) before flying back to Raleigh. Radio broadcaster Andrew Sanders will be calling the action on WKNC 88.1 FM in Raleigh. NC State's game against Hawaii is the only one that will feature a live video stream.Â

NOTING THE WOLFPACK (5-0)
-Ranked 12th by the AP and 12th by USA Today.
-Selected to finish second in the ACC this season.

With an 80-40 win over UNCW on November 10, NC State's Wes Moore earned the 700th victory of his head coaching career. He became just the 11th active and 22nd ever NCAA Division I women's basketball coach to do so.
