Wolfpack and Gaels will meet for the first time in program history on Sunday

MORAGA, Calif. – Having started a season 4-0 for the ninth consecutive time, the 14th-ranked NC State women's basketball team begins a four-game road swing with a Sunday visit to Saint Mary's. Tip-off between the Wolfpack and Gaels is scheduled for 5 pm ET (2 pm local) from McKeon Pavilion in Moraga, Calif. The game will be streamed live on the West Coast Conference (WCC) Network. Radio broadcaster Andrew Sanders will be calling the action live on WKNC 88.1 FM.
Following Sunday's action, NC State will travel further west to Honolulu, Hawaii, where the Wolfpack will take on Texas (Nov. 29), Hawaii (Nov. 30), and North Texas (Dec. 1) in a three-game tournament.
A WIN ON SUNDAY WOULD...
-Be the 921st win in program history (920-467).
-Be the 703rd win in head coach Wes Moore's career (702-227).
-Be Moore's 145th win at NC State (144-58).
-Be Moore's 41st true road win at NC State (40-26).

TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS ON THE ROAD
Now in season seven under head coach Wes Moore, the Wolfpack has earned 40 true road wins (average of 6.7 per completed season) since the start of the 2013-14 season. In the prior eight seasons from 2005-06 to 2012-13, the Wolfpack earned 32 true road wins (4.0 per season).
TWO STRAIGHT DOUBLE-DOUBLES
Sophomore center Elissa Cunane has registered double-doubles in each of the Wolfpack's last two wins. She recorded 14 points and 13 rebounds in a Nov. 14 victory over Lamar and followed this up with a 12-point, 10-rebound performance in a Nov. 19 win over Maine. In fact, she is only one rebound removed from three consecutive double-doubles, as the Summerfield, N.C., native scored 18 points and grabbed nine boards in a Nov. 10 win over UNCW.
NEWCOMERS MAKING AN IMPACT
Newcomers Jakia Brown-Turner (9.5 points per game) and Jada Boyd (10.0 points, 10.3 rebounds, 2.3 steals per game) have made immediate impacts during the Wolfpack's first four games.
JUNIOR FORWARD JONES STEPPING UP
Junior forward Kayla Jones is making the most of her first four career starts. She has averaged 11.3 points and 6.5 rebounds per game while shooting 15-of-28 (53.6 percent) from the field. Last season, Jones averaged 4.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per outing.
