Before the end of the first quarter, the Demon Deacons (7-1, 3-1 ACC) scored three touchdowns, and added a field goal in the second to start out 24-0.

The Pack (4-4, 1-3) answered with a 3-yard TD pass and 4-yard field goal in the second quarter, but went into the locker room down 34-10 at the half.

Wake scored 10 more points early in the third quarter for the lone points of the second half.

After the Wolfpack fell behind 24-0, NC State got the on the scoreboard with a 10-play, 75-yard TD pass early in the second quarter. On the drive, QB Devin Leary was 6-of-7 for 46 yards. The TD catch was Angeline's team-leading fourth of the season.
