
Pack Hosts Alcorn State Tuesday at Reynolds Coliseum

Tuesday will mark first meeting between NC State and Alcorn State

RALEIGH, N.C. – The NC State men's basketball team (3-1, 0-1) plays its second consecutive home game inside James T. Valvano Arena at Reynolds Coliseum Tuesday evening when it hosts Alcorn State (1-3).
The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. and will be shown on ACC Network Extra with Andrew Sanders and Ernie Myers calling the action. NC State fans can also listen to Gary Hahn and Tony Haynes on the Wolfpack Sports Network.
Tuesday's game is part of the Barclays Center Classic. NC State will play four games as part of this event. The Pack's home games against St. Francis Brooklyn, Alcorn State and Little Rock were all set-up through the tournament. The event culminates on Thanksgiving Day when the Pack faces No. 16/20 Memphis at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

- NC State defeated St. Francis Brooklyn, 95-64, on Saturday afternoon at Reynolds Coliseum. Senior guard C.J. Bryce led the Pack with a double-double, recording team-highs in points (22) and rebounds (11) in the win. Also reaching double figures for the Pack was D.J. Funderburk (17), Devon Daniels (13), Manny Bates (12) and Jericole Hellems (12).
- Senior guard C.J. Bryce is averaging 20.3 points per game this season and is shooting 60.4% (32-of-53) from the field. He currently ranks fifth in the ACC in both categories. He is the only player in the ACC to rank in the top-five in points and field goal percentage. The Charlotte native also leads the Pack in steals this season and ranks fifth in the ACC at two steals per game.
- Senior guard Markell Johnson has passed out 23 assists in three games this season. The Cleveland, Ohio native leads the ACC at 7.67 assists per game. Johnson has 420 career assists and ranks eighth on NC State's career assists list.
- Redshirt freshman Manny Bates has 16 blocked shots in the first four games of this career. He ranks second in the ACC with an average of four blocks per game. The Fayetteville native had seven blocked shots against Detroit Mercy on Nov. 10 which are the most by an ACC player this season.

- The Pack's bench has scored a combined 73 points in the last two games. NC State scored 34 points off-the-bench in the win over St. Francis Brooklyn on Saturday and had 39 points on Wednesday night against FIU.
